Best way to bill back submetered water
Hello BP Family,
I recently purchased a mobile home park and Louisiana that has sub metered water. The previous owner looked at the water meter readings at the beginning of the month and at the end of the month and billed the tenants. I am following that model but find myself consumed by excel and formulas. Is there an app out there or a process that somebody has that helps bill mobile home park tenants back for their water and that is not as time consuming? Looking forward to hearing about some more efficient processes. Thanks Fam!

Many park owners (including ourselves) have retrofitted Metron meters over conventional, since they are read electronically every 20 minutes and will tell you if there are any leaks so you can proactively fix them. They have the ability to do the billing for you, or you can merge it into Rent Manager. It seems that water metering is generally heading this direction, using technology that is dominant in Europe.
