Can a park prevent me from buying a home and moving it?
Hi,
I’m in Pennsylvania. I want to purchase a home in one park, and move it to another. Can the park manager prevent me from doing this?
I know they can reject my application to be a resident in their park. But, if I have no interest in being a resident, can they still stop the sale?

It gets complicated if in the lease all sales need to be approved by the park. If they reject your application according to the lease you may not be able to purchase the home. Technically, if you are willing to fight it you can move the home if you have the title to it and all lot fees are current. Look through the rules and regs and the existing lease to see what notice is needed to move the home out.
Make sure you understand the full costs of moving the home, not sure if you looked into it but it can add thousands to the price along with thousands to set it up someplace new.
