How much do you pay a handy man per job?

I am hiring a handy man to make some simple repairs on a mobile home. Including installing baseboards, fixing a hole in the subfloor, installing two light fixtures, and installing carpet in the bedroom...about 120 square feet. Baseboard is about 140 linear feet. What's a fair amount to pay him? Joe

Rachel H. Jose Ramos I wouldn't have said it any better. Only thing I would add is that don't pay up front for the job if they ask for deposit or some sort of payment up front. Tell them you'll pay them after 20-50% of the work is complete and then again when it's all done
