Advertise Lot Rent / Bring Your Own MH and Install?
I have a property with land sufficient to add two trailers.
I don't want to go through the hassle of buying, rehabbing and installing a MH, then selling with owner finance. but would like to collect lot rent to accelerate the mortgage paydown.
Is it common practice to offer up the land for lease and hope to find tenants that can furnish their own trailers?
My intuition is that the capital cost would be too high for most, but this is new to me.
Thanks for any input.
