Mobile home park investing in Chicago/Milwaukee/Indy

Hello - I'm based in Chicago and am looking to network with folks who have experience investing in mobile park homes. Specifically interested to learn more about 1) key criteria when snalyzing mobile park home deals, 2) main Capex / infra considerations for maintenance, 3) leasing / operations support, and 4) lending options. Any contacts, networking events around Chicago, or helpful resources that folks can direct me to educate myself on this asset class would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

@Jonathan Klemm - thanks for the info! I have been curious about other asset classes with different economics/volume. After some initial research, I’ve decided this is probably not the right space for my immediate plans. And agree, there’s definitely a shortage of parks situated within the Midwest.

Hey @Charles Salmen - Just curious, what's your why for mobile home parks in the midwest?

I know if you do some google searches there are some very specific mobile home park communities.  I'd join one of those since they are already in the trenches of that sector.

Here is a couple I found: https://w2capitalist.com/mhp/https://forum.mobilehomeuniver...

We are primarily based in Chicago and there is just not a high quantity of mobile home parks here for it to be interesting to us.
