Public Relations Question for Homicide in the park

LaDonna Davidson
Posted

We Purchased this mobile home park June 27th of this year. One week ago a tenant who owns his mobile home, is being charged with Murder of his girlfriend. This did occur in the park. I have no idea if I should make a statement to tenants and if so what should I say? Please help!!

To Further complicate things the suspect is the brother of the old on site property manager, who still lives in the park and the victim has several family members in the park.

The short answer is I honestly would pose each and every one of these questions to my attorney before doing anything. This is above the heads of even the most seasoned investors no matter how much they tell you they know. It just depends. It sounds like you are not even sure there are charges. Anybody can turn themselves in. Have they been convicted? Out on bail tomorrow and catching a cab to go home that you are already cleaning? These are hypotheticals. Way over non-attorney heads…
