The forums is now home to fancy "WYSIWYG" editing! (What You See Is What You Get). In other words... Now you can have more creative expression in your posts.

As you can see by the gentleman to my left, you can now easily add photos to your forum posts.

But wait- there's more...

You see, not only can you add fancy photos, and put them on the left, the right, or the center of your post, you can also embed YouTube videos here directly on the forums - for example:

Pretty Fancy, eh?

You can also do some cool stuff, like ordered lists (like below) and bullet lists.

In other words, you can make your posts look a lot more like a word processor!

I can think of about 100 uses for these new super powers here on the forums. I'm sure your mind is running a thousand miles an hour, thinking of all the cat videos, photos of that strange growth on your left thigh, and your high school prom dance.

However, let me lay down a few ground rules first:

Thou Shall Not Be Spammy - Just because you can now have these super powers- please don't think the culture of "no self promotion" has changed around here. As the sheriff, we'll still be enforcing a no-promotion policy. BiggerPockets still has the right to remove anything that we deem as too promotionally, so refer to the Forum Rules if you have any questions. If your video has your logo on your shirt... okay. If your video is asking people to go to your site to download your free report... spammy.
Thou Shall Not Over Do It - This post might be excessive, but I'm just demonstrating all the cool features. Keep it cool. Keep on topic as much as possible.
Thou Shall Stay On Topic - Just like normal, please don't hijack threads or throw random videos up that don't help anyone. A funny video that relates to the post - great. Being too lazy to answer questions so simply posting an unrelated video: not cool.
Thou Shall Not Teach - Except in the MarketPlace or Blogs - This one is important but kinda confusing. Here is what I mean: If you are creating a video or image tutorial to teach something - awesome! However, the forums themselves are for conversations and questions - not directing teaching. The Member Blogs are for teaching/training/articles and the MarketPlace is cool for that too. Basically- we don't want a bunch of threads of people making "how to" videos or articles in the regular forums.

Step One: Click "Advanced Reply"
Step Two: Rock out using the menu bar above the post

So how will YOU use the new Editor?
