When I search pre- foreclosure on prop stream it comes up with property’s that say Pre Foreclosure “doc type lis penden”
I thought lis penden were liens on a home that can’t be sold until the issue is resolved?
Also are lis pendens property to target?

A lis pendens means a formal notice that there is a lawsuit on the property. It doesn't prevent a foreclosure or a sale, but it does prevent clear title. Anyone that buys a property with a lis pendens is subject to that lawsuit. I would guess that preforeclosure lis pendes means a current judicial foreclosure lawsuit has been filed and the lis pendes is to alert prospective buyers
