BP blog publication dates -- Question

How do I tell when a BP blog article was published? 
I get the email with highlighted posts. This week I got an article on "Should I Buy Several Cheap or a Few Pricier Houses?" At the top, it says "Aug. 14, 2020"  But the comments show that half the comments were made TWO YEARS ago. So… what's going on? How do I know when an article was really published?
