Looking for advice on North Carolina Investing

Hello, I recently found a great property in North Carolina very close to the Hickory Grove area just outside Charlotte. I live in Miami but it is super expensive for my husband and I  to invest here at the moment. Before I dive in I wanted to see if 

A. Anyone had advice for a first-time investor 

B. Anyone knows of a good property management company in the Charlotte area that works well with absentee owners.
