Strange Text Messages From BP Today, Privacy Concerns...

Earlier today I received a text to my personal cell letting me know I'd successfully registered my number to bigger pockets (I had not) moments later I receive a text letting me know this was an error and that my personal information was safe.... 

I don't think I've ever given this number to BP and most certainly not with permission to register it. 

Did anyone else receive any texts like this today? I'm concerned about my privacy on the site and how our personal information is being handled.
