Issues with the iPhone app

Is anyone else having issues with the iPhone app? I have two issues. 1. Anytime I click the “messages” button the screen goes all white and I have to restart the app. 2. Sometimes when typing a message the app wIll default to all capital letters. No matter what I do I cannot get It to switch back yo lower case I had two friends look at It and they couldnt fIgure It out either.
