Posting contact info for a company on BP

I am pretty new to BP, and I have found myself reading a post with someone looking for an attorney or title company. I gave out my attorneys number. Is that breaking the rules?

Yes. We ask that you not post the personal contact information of anyone. We have over 66,000 members. Further, posts are visible to non-members, too. So, posting a phone number can potential result in a lot of calls or e-mails, which in turn results in complaints. Contact a member by PM if you want to exchange contact info for yourself or someone else.
