Can I search specific forums or just the title?

I love the concept of forums for sharing information.  I am new to this site but very familiar with most forum software platforms.  Am I missing something or is there no ability to either search a specific sub-forum?  What about the ability to narrow a search down by only searching the post title?    Is this possible?    Thanks!
