A few days ago I announced our first BiggerPockets Group Video Project - What Was Your First Real Estate Investment Deal? Share Your Video

So far, we've only had one submission from Jon Klaus, so I wanted to re-post about it here on the forums to get more energy going . . . .

Basically, we're asking our members to create a brief video where they share their first real estate deal -- successful or not -- with the rest of the community.

We're going to compile these videos together into a single post on our BiggerPockets Blog, and will be sharing this througout the site and web.

Participating will be a great way to help other investors and to get exposure for yourself and your business.

So . . .

Here's what you need to do:

- Create a 3-5 minute video that discusses your first real estate investing deal. It doesn't matter what kind of deal it was -- buy/hold, rehab, wholesale, bird-dog, commercial, etc --all that matters is that you give some details about how it came about, what you did right or wrong, and ultimately, if you made or lost money with it.

- Please be sure to open your video with your name, location, the name of your company (if any), and be sure to mention that you're submitting it for the "BiggerPockets.com First Investing Deal Video Project."

- Do not use your video to advertise or promote your business. If you do any form of promotion beyond the name of your company in the beginning of the video, we will not accept it.

- Upload the video to YouTube, and make sure it is embeddable.

- As long as the video meets our quality standards and the above conditions, we'll share it to our large national audience in a post that compiles all of these entries.

Please be sure to submit your Videos by Thursday, December 3, and notify us of the video by replying to this thread with it's URL.
