Search function weirdness

Hello there!

I have a question about the search function. What am I doing wrong? 

I type in my keywords.

Press search. 

Get some  results but the result are fairly old, so I choose "Latest" from the sort by menu. 

And I get the latest posts NOT related to my search terms.

Yeah. That happens. One thing I do that you can try is do a Google search. Use the keywords you had listed: vertical cracks on foundation 

and then also include biggerpockets.com

Here are the top 3 results that came up in Google and they seem to be relevant to your keywords:
