I

have a member  emailing me properties to my personal email.  Keep in mind I'm not a colleague of his and I've never given this information out to other members.  Is this a violation or allowed

Harvesting emails from the site is against the terms of use. On any members profile there is a link "Report Abuse" that you can report it.

However if you post your email on the internet understand that realistically it will be harvested. You can report this member, but it will inevitably happen again. If you do not want to receive unsolicited emails it may not be a bad idea to remove your email address from your profile as a practical matter.
