Should there be a Down Vote Option On BiggerPockets?
We all give advice that may be considered good or bad depending on perspective. Very often an issue has two different opinions and sometimes two people can have different views. That is fine and totally understandable.
My question is more about those situations where there is a right or wrong answer. I have seen people give legally incorrect advice. I am talking advice so bad that any simple Google search would give a better answer. It is like people put no thought into responding or they just have no idea what they are talking about.
Of course we have the option to reply and correct them, but wouldn't it be nice if we could down vote their answer? A down vote means that a response could have negative votes and the user themselves could end up with a negative vote score.
Maybe I spend too much time on Reddit where this is used, but just wanted to put the idea out there and see what people think.

Even a "Disagree" button. Wouldn't necessarily mean you are voting down, you just do not agree with the poster. With the tally next to it you could note that 40 people up vote and 20 disagree. Gives some perspective.
