Recent problem with BP fonts

I don't know what this is, but I've been seeing a lot of posts lately with this weird "A" character inserted in the text.  Here's a screen shot from another user's post showing what I'm talking about :

I just had it happen to me in one of my posts too, but when I went to edit it I couldn't see the character in question.  In my post, the character happened to be in a spot between sentences with a double space.  I edited the post to remove one of the spaces and the weird "A" character disappeared.  Not sure if/why that had anything to do with it, but maybe it'll help someone at BP diagnose the problem.
