Upgrade Plus to Pro Question

Hi Folks,

Cant seem to find an answer on the forums,

I am thinking about upgrading to a plus or pro account. If I get a plus account and pay up for a year, what would happen if I wanted to go pro? - Do I need to pay the full price (throwing away the money for the plus account) or is there some kind of pro-rated upgrade fee for this situation?
