New on BiggerPockets: Batch Your Email Alerts - Instant, Daily or Weekly

You asked and we listened!

Sometimes the various email alerts available on BiggerPockets can produce a lot of email for our users and as a result, some of you have even elected to turn your alerts off completely or you just ignore the alerts when they come.

In order to help alleviate this problem for everyone here, we've gone and updated our alert system to allow for the batching of certain alerts. Now, instead of getting alerts as things happen on the site, you can instead choose to get an email once a day or once a week.

How to Update Your Alert Settings

Simply go to the ACCOUNT menu on the blue navigation bar and select Settings and Privacy, then click on the NOTIFICATIONS tab.

Once there, you'll see the following:

As you can see, you can set your the following options to Instant, Daily, or Weekly:

• Colleague and reference requests
• Votes on Your Forum Posts
• Updates to Monitored Forum Topics
• Keyword Alerts
• @Mentions on the site
• New Followers

Stop ignoring those emails . . . update your notification settings today so our system can work best for you!
