Loss of control/input when going from self manage to PM Co.
Anyone get a sense of a loss of control and input when going from self management to selecting a PM Co? I'm thinking about that now. I'm going out of state long distance to diversify and have been talking with PM Co's
One distinct question I asked a particular company was "Will I have input in who is selected' and the response was "no". They have their own criteria they follow. I don't intent to step outside of fair housing laws or anything...but I'm a lifelong DIY'er. From changing oil and brakes, to painting, to landscaping...you name it.
I know myself and I want to have full confidence in who is living in my home. If I have no say so, that's bothersome.
I know I can find a PM that grants input.
Anyone else have these same concerns with this? I also know it's neccessary to fully enjoy the fruits of passive and residual income.
