Subscribed forums iphone app

What does the subscribed forums star do? I can't seem to do anything with it in the iPhone app. I'm hoping for it to do something like this 1) favorites where I pick threads that I want to "star" and save for later Or 2 ) show a list of all threads that I've participated in so that I can go back in and see updates Both of these features would be greT and would have me interacting with the site so much more.
