Faulty microwave appliance tripping circuit breaker?
Hello,
I have a over the range microwave with exhaust that runs exclusively on a 20 amp circuit breaker. Today when I turned on the microwave the circuit breaker tripped and I haven’t been able to reset the circuit breaker ever since. One thing I noticed is that when I unplug the microwave I am able to reset the circuit breaker , should I directly replace my microwave or call an electrician first? The electrician’s visit can cost me at least $150 vs replacing the old microwave with a new one should be done well under $350, please advise.Appreciate your inputs
Thanks
