Dishonest contractor Austin Blake

I live in Canal Winchester and my wife and I are doing our second rental. We came across a contractor that seemed nice and had fair prices. He needed money to get started and we had a contract. Paid 800 dollars up front for him to start had a gut feeling it was bad but we gave him a chance. Put our toilet in and said it did not leak.

Here’s a video of what happened when I checked it. Also would make time commitments and not keep them for example tell us he would get something done and then not do it. After several missed phone calls about the toilet. We set up a time to meet and terminate the contract. We even agreed to pay him for work that was attempted and not completed. Just so we could end the contract. He did come back and fix the toilet after we called him over and over again about it but he has not kept his commitments. We have not heard anything back yet...... I don’t think we will. We lost 800 on this deal I just hope I can save people on BiggerPockets the hassle and headache.
