How can we avoid getting ghosted by contractors?

Me again with the same fence dramas.  We are trying to replace a fence in Atlanta, and we keep getting ghosted by fence contractors.  We've had some additional questions and have asked for updated quotes when they didn't get it right the first time.

Why do contractors ghost, and is there any way to make them want to work with you?

@Jennifer D.

Keep calling them. I have to call my contractors a few times to get them to finally do something. If they’re being a pain, then find someone else. Don’t expect too much from any contractor, you’ll let yourself down often. It’s best to move on and find a person willing to do the job.
