Why Do Contractors Have A Bad Reputation?

Hi BP Community,

I’m new to Real Estate Investing so don’t know much about contractors but in all of my research and talking to other investors, contractors seem to have a bad reputation.

I’m just curious to know why and if they really are that disloyal/dishonest. If so, what is the deal? Why is that the case??

Thanks in advance for enlightening this newbie!
