General contractors license in Philadelphia
I’m asking for a family member , what’s the steps to getting a contractors license in Philadelphia?

Literally googled "Philadelphia General Contractors license" and it's the second result that pops up...
License requirements here. It's very simple, actually scary simple. No test other than your OSHA 30 which is for safety only. You literally need to know nothing about building a house to pull permits and start building a house. I don't love government and more expenses/hoops to jump through but there should be some testing to get this license.
