Newport, RI Renovation Experts Needed

I recently just bought a property in Middletown, RI and I'm looking to finish out the basement! I'm just looking for some advice as to certain requirements necessary when putting an egress window, distances between walls and furnaces/oil tanks if necessary, etc.
