Programs or schools to help get general contractor license? Just moved to Georgia to get license out here for a company based in New Jersey.

LOL... If it were that easy, there would be no need for license.

Do a search online for Georgia Contractor Licensing Exam Prep Class.  Pick one that is local and has good reviews.  I do not recall the name of the one that I used or I would list it here.  Be prepared to spend $500 to $1000 for the class and the books, many many books.  Exam is 7 to 8 hours, open book, and most people fail first time.

In the class pay attention to how to find subjects in the books, not the actual examples or answers given.  The answers are not on the test.  The class basically teaches you to TAB the important areas of the books and how to find information quickly.

Good luck,

Kenneth
