general contractor license for PA

hello i am new to the BP family so i guess i will introduce myselff as well as ask for help. i have houses in PA with 6 apartments each in every house. i am doing it with my father so i am not alone. but i would like to get my general contractor license for all of PA so i can start helping homeowner with repairs to their home. i would like to know if any GC(general contractor) have any advise for getting started? it will help a lot. right now i am trying to see what exam i have to take to receive my license
