Finding a cotractor to repair ceiling

Does any one can recommend how to find a responsible and reasonable contractor in the Greensboro NC area? Can any one recommend a contractor? I have some water damage repairs to do in a kitchen ceiling. I think I could do it myself, but will try to get a professional first. Help, please.

FYI, if it's only water stains(brownish spots), and not bad drywall that will need removed(like if it's sagging or you can easily break thru it), then you can paint over it.  Just make sure you use an oil base primer, like Kilz, to paint the spots first, before putting on a finish coat of white ceiling paint.  If you use a water based primer, the spot will show thru again, guaranteed.
