Hardwood floor refinishing

Looking at a house on the southside of chicago built in the 50s so it has the nive 2-1/2 oak hardwood in it needs floors need to be restored looking just for sand and varnish, what is the price others have paid to have this done by the sqft? total amount of flooring would be right around 2000 sqft. thanks
