Sealcoating a driveway

I was mowing the lawn at a unit I have up for rent . A guy stopped in and offered to sealcoat my driveway .  Ok , sure you can give me a price I tell the guy . He breaks out his measuring wheel and comes up with 800 sq feet . Now he gives me a price of........................... $ 1900.00     Nineteen Hundred .      Needless to say I sent him packing .
