Would You Install Tile Immediately Following Foundation Repair?

Would you install tile immediately following foundation repair or use a more flexible flooring surface (assume the area to be tiled was subject to the foundation repair)?

On other thing, is it common to have window damage from foundation repair?

Are you asking about a slab or pier and beam home? Normally we recommend not doing any cosmetic work for 8 weeks which gives the framing and drywall time to adjust to the new elevations. But since you're talking about flooring I haven't ever heard you should wait. Once the slab is lifted, it should not move if the piers are properly installed.

So you should be able to do flooring right away.

I work for a foundation repair company in The Dallas-Fort Worth area so let me know if you have any other foundation related questions!
