Handyman vs Contractor
Hello BP family,
Me and my partner are currently in search of a GC to rehab a property that we have under contract in the Jacksonville area.
We’re debating if we should go with multiple handyman’s and save some money or keep trying and trying to find a goooood GC which everybody knows is really hard, especially us that are new to the Jacksonville market.
What you’ll think? Any Suggestions?
I’ll appreciate any help! Thanks!!

The state of Florida requires a General Contractor's License to do most work, except small things like paint and floors. So that's an easy answer for you.
You could technically use a Handyman for the little stuff and hire a GC for the big stuff, but most GCs won't work behind Handymen, too much liability.
Just pay the extra and have it done right.
