Need a solid contractor

Hey guys I need some help! 
I bought a house in twentynine palms, CA and it’s not been 5 months and I’ve been trying to get renovations done on it. 
Had two contractors so far, one was dishonest and kept asking for money , the other has not been able to get it work done in timely manner and I just want to get it done and sell it or STR it!
Can someone please suggest an affordable contractor in the area that can just get the work done?!
