Looking to build a home in the GeorgeTown TX, area. Need advice

Hello all, I am looking to build a home on some vacant land and just wondering if anyone would mind guiding me as this is the first time I have done anything like this. Just wondering what to expect to pay, people I need to contact etc. etc. assuming I own the land already. Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!
