Recommendation For General Contractor South Side of Chicago
I just purchased a SF, 2BR/2Ba 1,221 sq ft brick property in Hazel Crest, Il. (60429). Property was well-maintained by a long term owner (35 years) but it is "dated". I would like to update kitchen/baths and add a BR in basement. Property will be inspected four days from now. My HVAC/plumbing contractor said the mechanicals were sound.
I'm not very handy. My philosophy with contractors (in the past) has been - "hire the right people and stay out of their way".
I need an honest, reliable, cost-conscious GC who can pull permits, demo and knock this "fix n flip" out in 3-4 months.
Any word-of-mouth advice; tutorials; websites you could recommend would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
