Mortgage Company Operations

To the BP community - thanks for your help on this. Career transition time for me! Fun, exciting, and scary as hell. Recently connected with a large Mortgage operation, expanding like crazy. There is an opportunity to join and also help with business development and expansion. Curious what I should be looking for/ what questions I should be asking? If anyone has recently moved to a new mortgage company via the net branching model I would be so grateful to hear what made you make the move. What does "better" look like from company to company? Thanks!
