Mortgage Requirement Without previous 2 years of W2, HELP!!!

Hi everyone, first I just want to say thank you for your info and guidance as I'm new at this.

I was trying to refinance and eventually get a second home, I was informed by multiple lenders that my income won't qualify because I don't have previous 2 W2. I worked for 2.5 years at my current company, I resigned 2.5 years ago to stay home with my babies, I finally went back to the same company, got a very big raise for coming back.

So one company is telling me if anyone approving using my income might be scamming me or not doing the underwriting correctly. Then 2 others lenders said as long as I have a letter explaining my gap in employment I should be fine. It's very confusing.

Anyone using these lenders before: FLexpoint, Leaderone, All Western Mortgage? THANK YOU THANK YOU
