Got pre-approved, clean credit, but owe the IRS will lender know?

Hi guys, I ****ed up. I got pre-approved for a loan with a very good credit score, my credit report was clean. I put an offer on a house and it was accepted. Now i'm bugging out because I owe the IRS at least 2500 and it says it was sent to a private collector. What should I do. Will the lender request this info from the IRS before finalizing the loan or do they just ask for income verification? I'm worried if I pay the amount off right now it will alarm the mortgage company because of the withdrawal and payment. I have all W2s and pay stubs etc.
