How to get Sellers credit when closing costs are zero
I am buying a house in NJ and receiving a lender credit that is covering my closing costs. Now the seller is offering me a seller credit, but I have no closing costs left to receive the credit. I realize that I can have it taken off the purchase price, but that will not be the same as real dollars at closing. Also, I could have the lender buy the rate down as well that isn't a good option for me either. Does anyone have any recommendations so I am not leaving $$$ on the table.
