Which is Better, Hard Money Lending vs Private Lending?
Hi BP Fam,
Hope y’all are doing well. So here’s the situation: there’s an upcoming foreclosure coming up in about 3 weeks. I would like to participate in it so as to have an investment opportunity. There’s a particular property I may be interested in, the issue is I don’t have the funds for it if at all I was to win the bidding war (hoping there will be none finger crossed 😬).
Nonetheless, I was wondering, based on the described situation, which would be better to work with for a better ROI: hard money lending or private lending? Thank you kindly for your attention and prompt feedback.
Best Regards,
Ndi.

Do you have specific lenders lined up for this deal which you've discussed it with? It seems a better comparison if you have a couple of specific term sheets from lenders which you can compare. A more savvy, experienced lender might be able to give you terms. A less experienced lender may not be able to, but they're also more likely to fall through.
