Would We Be In This Mess If Banking Was More Dispersed?
The big banks control a ton of the market share for lending. Do you think we would be better off today if the banking market share was more concentrated in the form of small regional banks instead of large banks? Is this possible with the current system dominated by Fannie and Freddie buying almost all loans on the secondary market?
