selling my owner occupied home

 I brought a foreclosure as our retirement home.  I am in the final stages of loan approval with /Quicken ( terrible company).  I have been approached by a realtor, who informs me that there is a waiting list for my type of home, and would we be interested in selling.  Will I be in violation of any lending laws if I get a good offer and sell.  My wife wants to move in, but I think I could convence her to sell.
