Help with 1099 self employment loan options
I am a courier that drives A LOT. my gross annual income is around $75,000 but due to mileage my net income on my taxes is around 15,000-20,000 with my actual income after all expenses realistically being around $40,000.
My question is, are there any options to get a mortgage (for a personal home or rental property) without changing how I report my taxes. I've talked to local banks and have been told that I'd have to report 40k for 2 years to get fha or similar loans. but doing this would cost me over 20k in taxes over 2 years... I've drove my self crazy trying to figure this out. any input would be greatly appreciated.
