Previous loan officer with eligibility on license still....
2 years since I've been a loan officer.. was selling cashout refi for mostly VA but FHA and Conv as well... Now I sell IT/Telco to Real Estate/Property management companies. Always known real estate was my long-term goal and have a good gig where I am at right now (assuming all stays same)...
Can you be an MLO part-time? just feel as if I am at a crossroads and not sure what direction to go in. Learned a lot and feel as if I could learn a lot more from servicing loans (particularly purchase loans) but feel like I am making good connections in PM/RE at my current job....
But long term want to own real estate as my job, don't want to do either... Guess I am just typing out into the ether at this point how I am feeling, but curious as to people's thoughts on where they have learned the most as a newcomer?
