How do you source investor-friendly local backend lender for refinancing or financing when investing remotely?

Most investor friendly lenders lend in the majority of the US. If you are looking specially for a local lender then a credit union or community bank will be your best bet. 

Not all local banks/credit unions will be very knowledgeable in the investment space so will need to call around to find a good fit.
