Young Real Estate Agent

Ive turned 18 about 5 months ago, and i work part time so there is a little bit of cashflow involved but just enough to cover my expenses. Instead of going to school, I am going to take the real estate course and become an agent. Any ideas, advice and/or tips for someone like myself getting into a 100% commission based field with minimal capital? Should I get into a career that can fund my business or go head first at 18 and become a well known agent by mid 20's
